Pablo de Borman, Almeida's "viral" nephew, breaks his silence after the wedding: "My uncle inspires me"

On April 6, one of the most anticipated weddings in recent months was celebrated in the San Francisco de Borja Parish: the wedding between Teresa Urquijo and José Luis Martínez-Almeida. After more than a year of relationship, the aristocrat and the mayor of Madrid decided to strengthen their bond before God and said 'I do' surrounded by friends and loved ones.

As it could not be otherwise, dozens of political figures from our country accompanied Urquijo and Almeida on such a special day for them: Esperanza Aguirre, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, José María Aznar, Marta Rivera de la Cruz, Cuca Gamarra, etc. In addition, some members of the Royal House also attended, including the king emeritus, Victoria Federica or Froilán de Marichalar.

Although everyone was clear about who the protagonists of the big day were, a relative of the popular politician caught the attention of social media users. This is Pablo de Borman, nephew of the mayor, son of his sister Magdalena Martínez-Almeida, better known publicly as 'Mayi'.

The boy, known for having participated in different campaigns as a model, spoke to the press and acknowledged that the family had almost lost hope that his uncle would get married: "In the end, God's way is there and well, things happen, you "You fall, you get back up and in the end God had a plan for my uncle and I am so happy that we have reached this day."

''The most important thing is that my uncle and Teresa are very happy and we wish them the best. May God bless you," said the young mannequin. The boy's words caused a great impact on the Internet and many criticized his conservative and religious tone.

This morning, the magazine Hello! has published an interview with the young man in which he has acknowledged that, from one day to the next, he has become a public figure: ''The day after the wedding, I walked with my brothers through El Retiro and people said 'the Almeida's nephew. "Someone tried to record a video of me."

The boy opened up in the conversation with the aforementioned media and explained that he grew up in Brussels, but that he has always been very close to his Spanish family. The young man studied International Business in the Netherlands and specialized in marketing. Currently, he has just completed a Branded content course at the Camilo José Cela University (in Madrid) and is doing an internship at a restaurant chain.

The young man, who has a YouTube channel, a blog and works as a model, has made it clear that his uncle is a very hard-working and close man: ''He inspires me a lot.'' Regarding Urquijo, Pablo has only stated that he has "a heart of gold."
