Outrage in networks over the Israeli singer's mockery at Eurovision about the boos: ''I'm in shock''

Israel's participation in Eurovision is causing a lot of talk. Yesterday, the second semi-final of the edition was held at the Malmö Arena in Malmö, Sweden, which included said territory among the different participating countries.

The situation was very uncomfortable in the stadium, since, as in previous rehearsals with the public, everything was filled with boos when the artist Eden Golan began to perform her song Hurricane.

As can be seen in the videos uploaded by some of the fans present at the concert, the stands were falling screaming against the presence of the Asian country at the festival. However, the European Broadcasting Union decided to silence the voices of fans who were protesting and had canned applause and cheers broadcast at the end of the performance.

As expected, Israel was one of the countries qualified for the grand final next Saturday. Once the gala was over, those elected gave a press conference in which several delegations showed a clear position against the country in question.

The singer from Latvia gave a speech about the right of countries to be free, the artist from the Netherlands attacked the EBU when they asked him if music could really unite everyone (as the edition's slogan says) and the Greek candidate made different faces while Golan responded to the press.

A journalist directly asked the Israeli singer if she believed that her presence could put her colleagues at risk, a question to which the young woman, after hesitating for a few seconds, responded reassuringly.

''I believe we are all here for one reason, one reason only, and the EBU is taking security measures to make this a safe and unifying place for everyone. I think it's safe for everyone, I wouldn't be here if it weren't like that,' he said.

As if everything that has been set up around the festival were not enough (the demonstrations in the Swedish city, the great social response from activists and fans in general, the collection of signatures...), the Israeli delegation has decided to take the situation with caution. a lot of humor

Israeli television has uploaded a video to its TikTok account in which you can see how Eden Golan begins to interpret some strange sounds, which are none other than the boos that those present on the set gave him the previous night.

Faced with such a ''comical'' video in which the protagonists in question laugh at such a serious topic, hundreds of users on the Internet have cried out and expressed outrage at the artist and her team.

''What a hesitation and what scoundrels, not to mention sons of fruit'', ''Well, it's already clear that he is a disgusting person, for those who tried to defend him'', ''I'm in shock'' or ''See this hesitate and thinking about the images of Gaza at all hours makes your stomach turn'' are some of the comments that can be read on X (Twitter).
