Omar Montes wants to buy a private jet because he wants to "save money on shampoo"

Omar Montes is not only known for his musical success in Spain, but also for his peculiar wit. And the singer never ceases to surprise his audience and the press. In a recent intervention, the artist has made it clear that he has a very particular vision about celebrating his successes.

In this case, Montes has stated his interest in purchasing a private jet if he wins a Latin Grammy, a decision that, although it may seem extravagant, shows that he is very pragmatic in his daily life.

The motivation behind this aspiration is simple: avoid long waits and tedious processes at airports. Montes is especially frustrated by restrictions on what liquids can be brought on board, which often result in products like his shampoo being confiscated. "If they are searching you all the time, if they throw your deodorant at you, if they don't let you use the shampoo... that's a bummer," the artist has complained.

The sum of these small inconveniences, apparently, has led Montes to value investing in a private jet as a practical and economical long-term solution. According to the theory, he could show up at airports with little time to spare and could keep all of his belongings with him at all times.

In this way, Montes calculates that, by avoiding recurring expenses on shampoo - a product that, he says, he has to replace weekly due to airport restrictions - he could offset part of the cost of the jet. "What you spend on the jet, you save on shampoo," he has assured with his own logic.

"That's money, because if they give you two or three shampoos a week... you could be leaving between 15 and 20 euros on shampoo," explains Montes, who estimates that these minor expenses can add up to a considerable amount at the end of the month. that end up compensating for the thousands and thousands of euros that a private plane costs.
