Old Money: The new trend that Meghan Markle has signed up for

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have returned to Europe for a few days to attend the Invictus Games, a competition that Prince Henry created in 2014. The son of King Charles III was the first to set foot in the German city of Düsseldorf. "It is more than a sporting event," he stated in his opening speech.

Two days later, the actress arrived in the city to accompany her husband. During the event, the couple exuded complicity and, above all, a lot of happiness after receiving the affection of the participants. "It's very special to be here and I'm sorry for being a little late to the party," said the Suits star.

During this trip Markle has once again conquered with her outfits with which she has joined the Old Money trend, a fashion started by Sofia Richie that consists of recreating the looks of rich American families in the 80s. This style that is based in classic elegance, with timeless designs and in neutral tones.

One of the most applauded outfits featured beige cotton Bermuda shorts from Staud that she combined with a black sleeveless T-shirt and a white knit cardigan with contrast trim and gold buttons from J.Crew. A perfect style with the infallible duo of black and white as the star that would have been impossible to see when she was an active member of the British Royal Family - their dress code prevents women from wearing shorts - and which she wore with Chanel slingback ballet flats.

Meghan thus opted for a comfortable and sophisticated outfit with timeless pieces that were very easy to copy. The duchess gave absolute prominence to her look, choosing to wear her wavy hair and small gold earrings, matching her Cartier bracelets.

Black was also the color chosen for her two other looks. On the one hand, Markle was seen wearing an outfit made up of pieces that many readers have in his closet: a T-shirt, tight jeans, and pumps. A style that did not require the use of accessories to succeed.

On the other hand, on her first day in the competition, the actress surprised with a Banana Republic shirt dress, midi length and three-quarter sleeves that she combined with a thin leather belt to highlight her figure. A sophisticated design that she wore once again with black pumps.
