New legal setback for Rocío Carrasco: she loses a legal battle against Raquel Mosquera

Rocío Carrasco filed four civil lawsuits against Pedro Carrasco's widow, Raquel Mosquera, for violation of the right to honor. Antonio David Flores's ex started this legal war due to all the statements, interviews and comments that Raquel Mosquera has been making in recent years about her and about everything that happened in her family, something that for Carrasco is " indefensible''.

One of the open fronts of the war between the two has come to an end with a final ruling by the Supreme Court that dismisses Rocío Carrasco's lawsuit against Mosquera for some statements she made on the Telecinco Deluxe program in 2016.

In this intervention, Mosquera spoke of the last meeting between Rocío Carrasco herself and her father, Pedro Carrasco. This meeting took place shortly before the boxer died at the age of 57 as a result of a heart attack on January 27, 2001.

The hairdresser defended that in this episode the father and daughter had a big argument and that Rocío Carrasco came to tell her openly that "everything she had was thanks to her partner and she owed neither her mother nor him anything." '.

According to Raquel Mosquera, this disagreement broke Pedro Carrasco's heart, causing him great discomfort that would end up "provoking" heart problems: "My husband said 'I will never see this son of a bitch again.' After that night he spent the nights smoking three packs a day looking at the sky."

Despite the harshness of the statements and the importance of the media at the time, the Justice rejected the claim in the first and second instance, so Rocío Carrasco decided to appeal to the Supreme Court.

After many months of waiting, the judge has issued his verdict and considers that on this occasion Raquel Mosquera's freedom of expression prevails, since we are talking about a public figure who has spoken about her life in the media and has profited of it, because he does not see a violation of the right to honor.

This means that Rocío Carrasco has lost this battle, since she can no longer appeal. In addition, the mother of Rocío Flores will have to assume the legal costs derived from the legal procedure.

Raquel Mosquera does not know that she has won the cause, since she is currently competing in the Telecinco Survivientes program, but she will undoubtedly be very happy when she returns to Spain and discovers that the lawsuit against her for the 2016 statements has been dismissed.

Although Mosquera has a lot to celebrate, the 'enemies' still have three legal battles pending, all due to statements that the hairdresser has made about Fidel Albiac's wife on the small screen or in the media.
