Mercedes Milá cuts Miguel Bosé's anti-vaccine speech: "What I announced is happening"

This Monday, Mercedes Milá premiered the third season of her in-depth interview program Milá vs. mila, on the channel

In fact, it was this last topic that caused a clash between journalist and artist, a tension that was resolved with Milá silencing Bosé and going off on a tangent. "Don't overwhelm me," she even told him at one point.

Miguel Bosé's denialist position in the face of the pandemic earned him criticism from a large part of society. Hence, Mercedes Milá took advantage of the premiere of the third season of Milá vs. Milá so as not to bite her tongue and deal with this thorny issue. The journalist already predicted it during the promotion of the program: she would not shut up or stop her questions.

For this reason, the artist did not hesitate to respond and give his opinion regarding the coronavirus and vaccines. "I will never forgive them, neither the government nor the press," Bosé began by saying in the most serious way, "the attacks that were made against me at the moment in which I took a position that I thought I could freely take."

In fact, the singer assured that this "did him a lot of damage: professional, human and social." To which Mercedes Milá told him by way of reproach: "You went from being an adored man to losing many points." However, Bosé kept his speech and released a: “The mistake they made was wanting to sink the people we thought like that. Over time, people have realized that what I announced at the time is happening."

"What's going on?" asked the journalist. "After so many years we are not going to argue, Mercedes," the guest told her. "The subject of vaccines," she clarified.

This was when Miguel Bosé began a controversial anti-vaccine speech: “The tachycardia, the clots, the cancers that are taking place. This is known and covered. There are a lot of people with vested interests. Pharmaceuticals, above all, are companies created to do business with us”.

Given the artist's explanations, Mercedes Milá decided to cut it quickly to move on to another topic. "Don't overwhelm me, Miguel," she told him, considering the matter of the vaccines settled.
