Mediaset denies that it has made an offer to the presenter of Antena 3, Vicente Vallés

Mediaset España is still in the process of readjusting its entire grid to give the audiovisual group a new image. After the departure of Paolo Vasile, after being in charge of the company for more than 20 years, the new management of the chain came in with a bang.

Alejandro Salem became the new head of Mediaset España, being the delegate of the Berlusconi family in our country. And it is that the recently deceased Silvio Berlusconi was in charge of founding Forza Italia, an audiovisual company that gave life to Mediaset.

With the arrival of the new board of directors, Mediaset became a field of change, in which the top priority of the new board of directors was to give the audiovisual group a new image, to recover all the audience that they had lost these years ago.

One of the first movements that they implemented in all their programs was the veto of certain famous faces of today, such as Rocío Carrasco or Rocío Flores. After that came the news of the end of one of the most mythical programs on the chain, Save me. The afternoon social chronicle magazine will say goodbye forever on June 23, after more than 14 years on the air.

The ElPlural.com outlet revealed that the head of the network had tried to sign one of the star presenters of its rival network, Antena 3. According to the outlet, the upcoming retirement of Pedro Piqueras would have forced the leadership to find a new presenter for their news at 9:00 p.m.

For this reason, one of the faces that most attracted the attention of the head of Mediaset Spain was Vicente Vallés. As ElPlural.com has learned, they offered him a million-dollar salary but the presenter of the Antena 3 newscasts preferred to continue with the San Sebastián de los Reyes network.

But now it has been from Mediaset itself those who have wanted to deny this information, stressing that they have never had contact with Vicente Vallés, nor have they ever made an offer to the Antena 3 nightly news presenter.
