Marian Rojas Estapé reveals the steps to follow to achieve a goal: “There is nothing worse to say, it will come when you least expect it”

The renowned psychiatrist Marian Rojas Estapé has once again gone viral on social networks for a motivational talk she gave months ago at the Technological University of Mexico (UNITEC). A video that has accumulated almost 300 thousand views and numerous comments from users who praise and applaud Rojas' words.

During her intervention, the professional gave the essential keys to achieving our goals in life. ''How are the goals achieved?'', Rojas began by asking. The psychiatrist immediately confessed that there were only three ways to achieve these goals.

''The first of them is to be realistic. If I say ''I Marian Rojas want to be an NBA player, I'm 1.63 m tall'', it's wrong because I'm not being realistic. Therefore, as much as I have a lot of hope and a very big goal of being a great basketball player, it doesn't make sense, be realistic,' she explained.

''The second thing is to go out and look for it. Leave your skin. There is nothing worse than saying "it will come when you least expect it." Fatal, nothing comes to your house and he tells you "hey, by the way, would you like to work for a multinational?" This doesn't happen,' she stressed. A fact that can also be taken to the sentimental field. ''The most wonderful man or the most beautiful and most affectionate woman is not going to come to your house and he is going to tell you ''I have noticed you because you are at his house and I want to meet you, that does not happen. He goes out and looks for it,' she said.

Finally, the renowned psychiatrist assured that the third way to achieve goals was to ''imitate the best''. ''If you don't know how to do it, look for an identity model, imitate the best. Not all of us are genuine people who have the ability to do it new and perfectly. And I always say that it doesn't matter if it's surreal, it doesn't matter if it's completely disproportionate, nothing happens. But have a plan and keep an open mind. If I say ''I'm from Honduras and my dream is to work in New York'', have an open mind and opportunities. Work, study, bring out your best version and get closer to that. Have your head ready for it to happen,' she concluded.
