In the spring of 2017, several weeks after the end of the What a Happy Time! by María Teresa Campos, a new program was born: Socialité. A format with which La Fábrica de la Tele ventured into the world of the carefree heart following in the wake of Cazamariposas.
A new program, with María Patiño at the helm, which has achieved triumphs in its segment during the six years that the Galician journalist has been at the helm. However, Patiño's time in space is over: as of Friday, December 15, she is no longer the host of the program.
This has been officially communicated to Mediaset, to end its break with La Fábrica de la Tele, with which the communication group has definitively cut ties after almost two decades creating hits on television.
According to Semana magazine, those responsible for the Fuencarral group would have held a conversation with the journalist in which they would have assured her that as of January she will no longer be there, and that there will be a radical change to the format.
Once the news was confirmed, the journalist reacted on Twitter, ensuring that it was not a farewell because "I don't like saying goodbye."
The presenter thus leaves the program after six years at the helm of what had been one of her most special work projects, and the Galician has taken care of the space with all the love and affection. However, she already suspected that her end on the show was near.
A while ago, he spoke about it, stating that he hoped that the conversation that took place this Friday would take place at some point. "Time after time...I am alone where I am valued and the best is yet to come."
However, María Patiño is not sad at all, because as she has written on her official Instagram account, she is looking forward to what is to come. Starting in 2024, another person will be in charge of the project, which will have a different feel.
At the moment, it is unknown who will be the person who will replace María Patiño at the head of Socialité. What is known is that she will not be her usual replacement, Núria Marín, since she has also been dismissed as she belongs to La Fábrica de la Tele, which is closing forever. It will be Fénix Media, Christian Gálvez's company, who will be in charge of the space from 2024.
