Manuel, son of Concha Velasco, reveals how the actress's health is

It is no secret, Concha Velasco is one of the most beloved actresses in our country. That is why the state of the interpreter's health has been the cause of a social scandal in recent hours, due to an alarming message that has spread like wildfire on social networks. Susana Uribarri set off all the alarms about the well-known actress's health with a comment that worried her followers. After the commotion created on social networks, Manuel Martínez Velasco, her son, wanted to update the state of health of her mother.

The truth is that viewers from different spheres of interpretation have great affection for the actress. Concha, who turned 83 years old last November, has been present for decades in series, movies and plays, forming part of the culture of the last half century. Now, she is in her retirement, away from the scenes and the spotlight, receiving daily care in a residence, where she entered a year ago now.

It is common to see how family and friends visit you at the residence where you currently live. It is usually Manuel, her son, who at the gates of the place meets the press to reveal how his mother is. In the last hours, she has had to do it again, but this time by phone, after a strong social alarm among network users. Everything came after a few words that the artist representative Susana Uribarri dedicated to the actress, on the occasion of the celebration of International Women's Day.

"I love you, my Concha Velasco. You are strong and we all love you. Great person, a 10 as an actress and a great fighter. For a long time with you. I dedicate my women's day to a GREAT WOMAN," wrote the daughter of José Luis Uribarri together with an image of both. A few words that, despite giving off great affection on the part of Susana - and being launched with the best of intentions -, caused quite a stir. Many users wondered if the actress had gotten worse.

Faced with the media noise that caused the possibility of a weakening of the health of the 83-year-old interpreter, her son Manuel has been as clear as ever and has explained how his mother is. "The truth is that there is nothing new. She is still delicate but very stable in the residence. Everything is in order," the young man revealed to the newspaper La Razón, a medium that contacted him after the controversial words of Susana Uribarri.

The coronavirus led Concha Velasco to make the decision to retire from the world of acting, after months without being able to work. Since then, her state of health has been deteriorating. A few months ago she had to spend a few days in the hospital, receiving treatment for a disease she has been fighting for a long time. Everything went well and Concha was able to return to the residence. She has been living there for about a year.
