'Mañaneros' continues to take shape: these are the new collaborators of Jaime Cantizano on his return to La 1

Televisión Española continues to prepare its renewed programming for the month of September. In full agreement to finalize the outsourcing of the chain, it was announced that the morning program La hora de La 1 would be produced internally, as well as new details of one of the programs that will complete the morning of the main channel. This is Mañaneros, the new magazine presented by Jaime Cantizano, which already has two new collaborators.

RTVE has announced the incorporation of Miriam Moreno and Marc Santandreu to the new space that will be launched from the new academic year. These are two journalists from the house, with extensive experience behind them and who will bring Cantizano the characteristic style of the public entity to his program. A project with which La 1 hopes to compete against the substitutes for El programa de Ana Rosa that will be hosted by Ana Terradillos and Joaquín Prat on Telecinco.

Miriam Moreno already has experience leading a television program. Since 2019, she has been the main host of Saber Vivir, the mythical RTVE health program that is now broadcast on Sunday mornings. This new adventure will mean her debut as a presenter on the main channel of the public entity, although she already has experience in terms of substitutions. During the summer seasons, she replaced Roberto Leal at the helm of España Directo.

For his part, Marc Santandreu has been part of the Televisión Española meteorology team since 2020. A new example of the pool of presenters and relevant faces before the public that El Tiempo de La 1 has been producing for years. Mónica López was the first, already having extensive experience in the media behind her back, and was followed some time later by Martín Barreiro, collaborating on Hablando Claro.

Regarding the rest of the programming, RTVE is already underway filming what will be its new afternoon series together with La Promesa. This is Salón de té La Moderna, an original Boomerang TV production based on the novel Tea Rooms by Luisa Carnés. Helena Ezquerro, Stéphanie Magnin and Almagro San Miguel will embody the leading triplet, who will be accompanied by other talents such as Miryam Gallego or José Luis García Pérez.

These movements are being carefully monitored by the management team of Televisión Española, waiting for Telecinco to begin its afternoon assault with TardeAR. Ana Rosa Quintana's new program will be one of the rivals to beat on next fall's television grid, and all the channels are reinforcing their bets so that viewers do not fly to the competition.
