Lula, Terelu's dog, sad for the death of María Teresa Campos: "She has suffered"

It's been a little over a month since the death of María Teresa Campos left the world of communication in mourning. The presenter died surrounded by family and friends, who did not hesitate to bid her a well-deserved farewell. After all, little by little normality has returned, including Las Campos, who have returned to their jobs.

Although it has been a hard loss for many, Lula, Terelu Campos' dog, seems not to be doing well at all. The presenter had a very close relationship with the dog, becoming her lifesaver in her toughest moments. Now, the journalist's daughter wanted to put this issue on the table on her Lecturas blog: "I have felt how Lula has suffered the loss of my mother."

Terelu Campos has begun to tell what a 'perrichijo' means: treating dogs like children. With this, she wanted to put on the table the love that María Teresa Campos felt for her dog Lula, a toy Maltese bichon. "I already told you, on some occasion, that her name is that because my grandfather called me 'Terelulilla'.

Although it has been in the family for four and a half years, according to Terelu, the pandemic marked a before and after. María Teresa was at her daughter's house during that time and the connection she had with the dog was maximum. "If he already liked Lula, he had the opportunity to become attached to her. I want to tell you how Lula came to be with my mother until her last days," he assured.

Shortly after confinement, Terelu decided to move, and during the process, the dog began to live with the communicator. "I will never forget my mother's happy face and I sensed that it was not going to be easy to take it away from her," said Alejandra Rubio's mother.

"Lula began to be part of my mother's daily life," he continued. And it seems that the dog finally went to live with María Teresa Campos indefinitely. "When my mother's illness began to develop, Lula has been one of the few things that has given her happiness," she expressed.

Such was the connection between them that the dog began to adopt María Teresa's schedules: "At home she was always in her arms, Lula got up and went to bed at the time my mother did and they slept together in bed." However, the dog "has come home," leaving her life behind. "She has returned because my mother is no longer here. I have felt how Lula has suffered the loss of her," she added.

If Terelu Campos has proposed anything now, it is for Lula to get her life back: "I'm having a hard time moving her forward so that she can go back to being the happy dog she was." To do this, she has decided to put a handkerchief with her mother's scent on the sofa: "I want Lula to feel that she is still close to her."
