Laura Matamoros reassures the audience of 'Survivors 2024' after her evacuation: “A cat has seven lives, I have already spent three”

Laura Matamoros is one of the Supervivientes 2024 contestants who has had a black week. Kiko Matamoros' daughter suffered an accident while collecting firewood with her colleagues and had to be evacuated from the island to be properly treated by the medical team.

The accident, which was initially described as a minor fall, has turned out to be more serious than expected. “It was a stupid fall that led to something hot that I didn't know was going to happen to me. I started to get dizzy and from the hips down everything was pinched. A disaster. A bad fall and here I am, waiting to see what happens,” said Laura Matamoros, visibly affected by the pain and uncertainty of the situation.

In the images that the program has shown it has been seen that Matamoros was with Miri and Blanca when the fall occurred that left her screaming in pain. "I don't know if I hit my head," she confessed, stunned by the impact. It wasn't there, but on her back: "It pulled my lower back."

It is not yet known what will happen to Laura Matamoros - Aurah has been able to return to the beach - but Barneda has warned that she must be prepared for any decision. “A cat has seven lives, I have already spent three,” the influencer joked.

The evacuation also occurred at a very emotional time for Matamoros, which was also affected by the recent celebration of her son's birthday and Mother's Day, dates that have made her feel more vulnerable. ”I've been feeling a little bad for a few days now, remembering my children a lot. And the other day was my son's birthday and I didn't hear anything from him," she shared during her connection with Sandra Barneda.
