Katy Perry and Rihanna: the dresses created with AI that have raised doubts about their presence at the Met Gala

For many social media users, this edition of the Met Gala has not quite met their expectations. Although spectacular outfits have been seen such as that of Penélope Cruz, Rosalía or Zendaya, the truth is that many have missed Blake Lively and Rihanna, two of the celebrities who have caused a sensation every time they have paraded down the museum's iconic staircase. with their looks.

Precisely the name of Barbados was one of the topics of the moment on X -formerly Twitter-. Many were eagerly awaiting her arrival and, although her attendance had been confirmed, she ultimately did not appear on the red carpet. Rumors quickly began that she was at the party but she had not passed by the photographers, a theory that was also being applied to Taylor Swift, another of the notable casualties of this edition. Hours later, People magazine confirmed that the Diamonds singer had not been able to attend the event due to the flu.

Despite not being able to enjoy her look, thanks to Artificial Intelligence (AI), a photograph of Rihanna was generated that many believed was real. In the snapshot you could see the artist with a striking and voluminous design that perfectly adhered to the dress code imposed by Anna Wintour, The Garden of Time.

In the image, the one from Barbados appeared in a dress with a circular structure, a generous neckline and a long train that stood out for a romantic floral print. A look that was completed with her dark hair and very natural makeup to give prominence to her creation.

But Rihanna was not the only victim of AI at this edition of the Met Gala. Katy Perry also caused a sensation on the networks with a dream design that she liked so much that she even shared it on her own Instagram. “I couldn't go to the gala, I had to work,” she wrote.

In the image generated, the singer was seen with a design covered in moss and flowers that turned her into a forest nymph. A look of hers that was so real that even her own mother sent her a message to congratulate her. “I didn't know you were going to the Met, what a beautiful dress, it looks like a rose parade,” she wrote to him.
