Juan del Val's devastating attack on Pedro Sánchez and Podemos: "It's a fraud... you're being a fascist"

The result of the municipal and regional elections last Sunday continues to bring a tail, and more so when this Monday Pedro Sánchez announced the dissolution of the Cortes and called for an advance in the general elections. A topic that came up in El Hormiguero last night after the interview with Ona Carbonell and during the current affairs table with Miguel Lago, María Dabán, Rubén Amón and Juan del Val.

In fact, apart from Lago, who starred in a tense moment after responding to Podemos's complaint after the "deaf and dyke" controversy, the writer and husband of Nuria Roca also had his golden moment by uttering a devastating attack against the formation residence and the President of the Government. "Fraud" and "fascist" were the terms he used to refer to them.

The electoral advance has generated numerous reactions and El Hormiguero asked his regular gatherings what they thought about Pedro Sánchez's decision. Juan del Val was very critical of the socialist leader, defining him as "genius or stupid", words that his partner Rubén Amón had previously used, and that depending on the moment, it would not be known which one to use.

Of course, the writer did not hesitate to make it clear that "Pedro Sánchez seems to me a fraud." And he explained the reasons: “It seems to me that calling an election on July 23 is directly a fraud. We already know that it is legal, we already know that it obeys the legal deadlines, but it seems to me that it is trying to alter a result. I don't know if this will work out for his interests or not, but in principle I would define it as a fraud ”.

During the gathering, Podemos and the complaint that they have filed against Miguel Lago for his "mockery" about the Valencian candidate Pilar Lima by calling her "deaf and dyke" also came to light.

Regarding the purple formation, Del Val assured, contrary to Amón, that "it is not a victim of polarization, that also, if not of its own errors, as I think is what happens when all the parties become extinct or they are about to do it, as I think is the case with Podemos”.

In this case, the writer was referring to some errors that “have to do with the marking, and directly what happens that people always pervert names with fascism, that this has been the campaign of Podemos. And fascism cannot be bought, even if you say you are something else”.

On this issue, Nuria Roca's husband pointed out that "if you are a fascist, people notice it, and when you point to a journalist, when you point to a communicator, and when you say that's him, chase him, you are being a fascist."

All this, according to del Val, has contributed to a great extent so that Podemos did not finally get political representation neither in the city councils nor in the communities of Madrid or Valencia. "Because the fascists hopefully disappear from the map," he specified, "it is not the case of citizens, it is the case of Podemos. We will see what happens with other forces if they enter the institutions”.
