Joana Sanz gives her first interview after the announcement of her separation: "Dani and I have nothing in common"

Joana Sanz has gone to a television set for the first time since the news of her separation with Dani Alves broke. The soccer player remains in prison after being accused of an alleged sexual assault on a young woman on December 30 at Sutton, a Barcelona nightclub. The model has never wanted to speak openly and extensively, until now.

Sanz has had a 28-minute conversation with the journalist Leticia Requejo for El Programa de Ana Rosa, where she has opened her heart. Requejo was in charge of confirming the news of the separation between the soccer player and the influencer, a month before Joana Sanz published a handwritten letter on Instagram affirming the breakup on March 15. Now, the model has wanted to grant her first interview talking about her private life to the same journalist.

Joana Sanz called Requejo on Monday a day after her visit to Dani Alvez in prison to clarify the statements that have been coming out in the last hours. According to what the crime journalist Carlos Quílez told yesterday in Y ahora Sonsoles, Sanz would have visited her still-husband to "talk about money." Faced with this statement, the model has been blunt: "We have absolutely nothing to talk about money, because Dani and I have separate property, we have nothing in common." "The only time we talked about money was at the beginning of this whole situation, I was overwhelmed and through his lawyer I asked him to arrange an apartment for me in Paris where I was going to work," says Joana.

He also wants to make it clear that he wants nothing from Alves. "I have never needed anything from him, we have always each had our things and our jobs. I have never wanted to leave my job to live from his," she says. Although Dani Alves is in prison for an alleged assault, Joana affirms: "I'm not going to judge him, that's what justice is for."

Despite everything that is happening between the still marriage, and the separation announcement, Joana Sanz wants to be close to the footballer. "Whenever I can, I'm going to see him to find out how he is, how he is and to hear from him. It is a very complicated situation," says the model. "I'm getting by," she adds.
