Influencer Natalia Osona hospitalized after being attacked in Cancun by an animal with rabies

Natalia Osona has had a difficult month regarding her health. At the beginning of April, the influencer and owner of the Glowrias clothing brand was admitted for 'extreme exhaustion': "Last night I had a very strong drop in blood pressure and I was in the hospital until this morning. The doctor told me that I have extreme exhaustion. I went weeks without sleeping well due to the bronchitis medication, work, the trip to Seville we took, all the shooting, editing and content in just one day.”

She herself acknowledged having rethought her way of life after arguing with the doctor who treated her, but the mishaps have not stopped. Through her Instagram stories, the Madrid native confessed that she had been vaccinated against rabies in Cancun, accompanying the explanation with an image in the hospital. She herself explained that everything is related to the bite of a cat that she recently took in.

“Actually, this happened days ago but I've been a little worried and didn't feel like talking about it. I suffered a cat bite, not from the little girl, but from the mother who had an injured leg, do you remember? She didn't attack me, she simply gave birth, she was very hungry and she jumped on my finger to eat because she hadn't eaten a bite for days, they had to give me that poor creature...”, she commented in the writing in question.

“They had to vaccinate me against rabies because I could probably have it since the kitten was previously attacked by a raccoon. Rabies is life or death, I think only about 20 people have survived in all of history so we can say that if you don't treat yourself, it is fatal... and I have had a bit of a difficult time with this issue honestly..." he expanded, insisting afterwards on his good fortune and on having been able to get vaccinated without major worries.

“The good news is that we have obtained the vaccine and in Spain they will continue to vaccinate me until the schedule of 4 vaccines in total is finished. I'm fine and the kitten's wounds are almost healed thanks to our care... and that makes me feel better. I am leaving Mexico with mixed feelings. “It has been a trip where many emotions have stirred in me, I have connected like never before with nature and animals,” she added.

Despite this, Osona also felt relatively guilty about the lack of assistance to other abandoned animals around the world: “I have given everything I have to take care of them but, still, there is still a lot to do. There are many animals in abandoned situations, in terrible conditions... what great shame and helplessness. Goodbye Mexico, I will carry you forever in my heart.”
