The tragic event occurred on April 16 in Salto Grande Lake in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The 20-year-old was there with his group of friends when he accidentally fell into the lake, according to The Sun. Those present tried to save the content creator, but unfortunately they could not do anything for him and the young man drowned.
Witnesses to the event immediately called the emergency services, but when they arrived they could only confirm the sad outcome. The death of the 20-year-old young man has been a hard blow for all members of the family, who have also been responsible for revealing the news of the influencer's death through social networks.
''Good evening to all those who were fans of Diego. I'm his brother speaking. Today we received the news that he fell into the river and did not return, after one or two hours of searching for him, they found the body... My brother is dead. He passed away, he just wanted to thank him for the support he always gave him,' Diego Santos' brother wrote on Instagram.
Days before the event, the Brazilian confirmed to his followers that he was preparing something to broadcast live. Furthermore, according to investigators, the content creator was recording content minutes before he died and even shared images of the place on his social networks.
