Imminent arrest of Carlos Navarro, 'El Yoyas'

Carlos Navarro, better known as 'El Yoyas', a former contestant on the second edition of Big Brother, has been on the run for several months from justice after being convicted of mistreating his ex-wife, Fayna Bethencourt, also a contestant on the Telecinco 'reality'. Fayna has denounced from the beginning that someone is protecting him, but it seems that his arrest could be imminent, according to information that has reached Saúl Ortiz, a collaborator of the Telecinco Fiesta program.

The Catalan is being sought for his immediate entry into prison after he neglected the request of the Vilanova del Camí Peace Court to enter voluntarily. Navarro has been convicted of exercising sexist violence against his ex-wife and her two children, and must serve a final sentence of almost six years in prison for seven crimes of mistreatment, injury, threats and harassment, six of them consummated against his ex-wife and his two children, and another perpetrated against Fayna's new partner.

Carlos 'El Yoyas', a former Big Brother contestant, has been in search and capture for four months, after being convicted of mistreating his ex-wife, Fayna Bethencourt. Despite the fact that she has denounced from the beginning that there is someone who is protecting him, it seems that the despair of the former contestant from the Guadalix de la Sierra house could have a near end, since according to information that has reached Saúl Ortiz, collaborator of the Fiesta program, the arrest of Carlos Navarro could be imminent.

Saúl Ortiz has reported this news live this Sunday in the aforementioned program. "I want to put this news in quarantine, but I hope and wish, for the good of Fayna and her family, that this news is true and this wretch, this torturer, ends up in prison for many years," added the collaborator.

From Fiesta they have contacted Fayna to find out her opinion on the matter. According to Carlos Navarro's ex-partner, the convicted person is trying to flee until the statute of limitations expires. In addition, Bethencourt has assured that he believes that there would be someone protecting the former Big Brother contestant from the beginning and this would be the reason why Navarro has not yet entered prison.

Likewise, as the ex-partner of the fled has made known, the police have closely approached the place where he is. "A couple of days ago they told me this, that my situation is as follows. We depend on someone seeing it and calling the police and that the police arrive on time. I have received clues from more than one, but I do not want to make it public for if it is true", reported Fayna Bethencourt.

'El Yoyas' was arrested in January 2018 for mistreatment in the Pozo Izquierdo area, in Gran Canaria, where Navarro lived with Bethencourt at the time. During the trial, the prosecutor maintained that, in the presence of their children, Navarro assaulted her wife "on multiple occasions, grabbing her by the neck until she lifted her off the ground, kicking her, punching her, threatening her and insulting her frequently." . In this way, the now-wanted man generated a "climate of terror" at home that affected the minors.

At the end of 2022, the Las Palmas court ruled that Carlos Navarros had to go to prison for exercising sexist violence against his ex-wife and their two children, and that he had to serve a firm sentence of almost six years in prison for seven crimes of abuse. injuries, threats and harassment, six of them committed against his ex-wife and their two children, and another perpetrated against his ex's new partner.

However, the Catalan did not attend the appointment to voluntarily enter prison. For this reason, the Criminal Court number 5 of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria has issued the search and capture order and since then the police have been looking for the fugitive.
