Head-on collision between Dani Alves' two wives, Joana Sanz and Dinorah Santana, at the footballer's house

Dani Alves remains in prison accused of raping a young woman almost a year ago at the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona. A crime for which the victim requests the maximum penalty, 12 years in prison, as presented by his lawyer last Tuesday at the Barcelona Court.

As if this were not enough of a problem for the player, two of the most important women in his life, Dinorah Santana - his ex-wife and mother of his two children - and Joana Sanz - his still wife - are up in arms. The reason, both claim to be those who would be paying the maintenance costs of the chalet owned by the Brazilian while he is in prison.

This was stated by José Antonio Leiras and Amor Romeira at Fiesta last Sunday, acting as spokespersons for the two women, without being present on set. According to Romeira, the Canarian model would be the one who would be facing these expenses. "Dinorah's entire attack on Alves comes because as of June 28, the powers that she had and those that she could manage all the money are revoked. That day she changes her version of defense to start attacking" .

José Ángel Leiras, on the contrary, denied Romeira's version, ensuring that the dates he gave were erroneous. Romeira insisted that the Canarian model began to live in the house, which belongs to both of them, making it her responsibility to pay the expenses "because Alves does not have access to his finances." What's more, according to the collaborator, the still couple would have a signed agreement in which the player would have agreed to return the money to his wife.

Dinorah Santana, however, insists that would not be the case. According to Leiras, she would be the one who would be paying the mortgage on the chalet. "Joana has never paid any mortgage bill. All the receipts are from my account and the expenses," Santana herself said by phone, in an intervention on the program. "If she wants, she can keep the house. What I want is for my name to be removed from this problem. She gets into this to draw attention to the fact that she is with an alleged rapist and people are attacking her."

The two collaborators claimed to have the evidence to prove their version, in the end making it clear that one was responsible for the mortgage and the other for some expenses. As Leiras pointed out, "the mortgage continues to be paid by Dinorah because she has ownership and usufruct as a result of a ruling and she is the one who transfers the home to Alves."

Joana Sanz, unaware of the controversy, did not speak by telephone. What she did do was share a message on her social networks, in which she confessed that she had gone to bed "crying."
