Harsh statement from Nuria González after the death of her husband, businessman Fernando Fernández Tapias

On October 25, Spain woke up with the sad news of the death of businessman Fernando Fernández Tapias at 84 years of age. The death of the businessman left his family and loved ones broken with pain and in shock, since no one expected that his end would be so close.

The magnate's death caused a stir among the highest echelons of our country, since Tapias rubbed shoulders with highly prestigious personalities. One of the public figures who mourned his death the most was the television presenter Jesús Vázquez, who stated before the press without being able to contain his tears that he had gone to visit him two weeks before the event.

Leaving aside the media, the person who has experienced the death of the former vice president of Real Madrid the worst has been his wife, Nuria González. Distraught and unable to hold back her tears, the woman attended the funeral of the ''love of her life'' along with the two children they had in common: Iván and Alma.

Far from finding an atmosphere of peace and harmony, the farewell of the deceased was marked by discord. The businessman's older children got into an altercation with some members of González's family because they forbade him to remain at the funeral, as Tapias had left in writing. It should be said that these descendants tried to incapacitate him years ago.

After countless articles and headlines about the supposed open war that the widow would have with Tapias' children, she has tired of lies and has released a statement to explain that she will take legal measures against all those publications that disseminate information belonging to the stricter ''privacy of marriage" and that directly violate their right to honor (and that of the deceased).

''Doña Nuria González through her legal advisors in response to the numerous mentions that appeared in the media, both printed and audiovisual, that refer to aspects pertaining to the strictest privacy of the marriage formed with Don Fernando Fernández-Tapias and, in some of them, even affecting the right to honor of both, issues this first and only statement announcing the imminent start of all legal actions assisting it in defense of the fundamental rights violated against those responsible for the media, its directors and people who have facilitated them. and/or disclosed,'' says the first part of the letter.

''Article 20.4 of the Constitution establishes the limits of public freedoms of information and expression with respect especially to the rights to honor, privacy and self-image, which have been violated on repeated occasions by the mentions that appeared as a result of the death of Mr. Fernando Fernández-Tapias, whose fundamental rights, such as those of his wife and children together, will be protected as often as required," the text concludes.

Nuria González married Fefé in 2002 and, after more than two decades together, she has more than demonstrated that they had a special connection. The woman remained by her side in the most complicated moments of her life and she did not abandon him when her physical condition was affected and she began to need more attention and care.

Just as she accompanied her husband with affection and respect during his last days, González wanted to make it clear with her communication that she does not want to participate in any type of media circus and that what worries her most right now is the well-being of her two children.
