The Galician actress and painter Rosalía Dans has died at the age of 68, according to the Curtis City Council (A Coruña) this Monday.

Daughter of the Curtian artist María Antonia Dans, Rosalía Dans rose to popularity with her role as Rosario in 'Los gozos y lasshadows' (1982), a TVE series.

Thus he became a popular face on the small screen in the eighties in series such as 'Anillos de oro' (1983), 'Goya' (1985), 'The Adventures of Pepe Carvalho' (1986) or 'Lorca, muerte de a poet (1987). In the feature film, he highlights his role in 'Amanece, que no es poco' (1989), by José Luis Cuerda.

Away from acting since the early nineties, she dedicated herself to painting. Her first exhibition dates back to 1986.

Precisely, last week the Curtis inaugurated the house-museum of María Antonia Dans, with thanks to her daughter, Rosalía Dans, for her collaboration in the purchase of the house and plot to make this project a reality, which will honor the figure of her mother and "will serve as a gallery for other artists," as Rosalía herself explained in a letter.
