From Belén Esteban to Terelu Campos: how never to go dressed to a pre-wedding

Not everything goes in a pre-wedding. As much as it is a more relaxed event than a wedding in terms of dress codes, pre-weddings also require etiquette. The one between Raúl Prieto and Joaquín Torres, held this Tuesday in Seville, demonstrates this disdain for taking care of clothing in this type of event. This is demonstrated by famous television personalities -because of their media work, which have become benchmarks of style without justification- such as Belén Esteban, Emma García or Terelu Campos and his daughter Alejandra.

For the appointed appointment, Belén Esteban opted for a floor-length design with blue sequins, shiny silver shoes and a large hair stole in the same tone as the dress. The exaggerated mix combines with the outfit chosen by her boyfriend, Miguel Marcos, who has chosen to wear a black T-shirt with a jacket with large blue wings printed on the lapel.

The lesson or style advice in this case lies in remembering that using excessive glitter does not create a more elegant look. Ultimately, the leading role is for the couple and therefore, for the guests, it is time to go according to the situation and not fall into exaggeration. After all, we are talking about a wedding, not a red carpet.

The outfits chosen by Terelu Campos and Alejandra Rubio move along the same lines. Mother and daughter have opted, like Esteban, for sequins. The first with an orange mini dress with feathers on the sleeves and hem, and the second with a party jumpsuit that, although well combined, could be used for the occasion, loses all its charm when worn with a leather jacket.

The choice of Emma García, although appropriate and sophisticated for the event, also leaves an important lesson in style for wedding guests or events of this type.

With a successful red suit with shirring and a belt at the waist, a slit and a V-neckline, the television presenter has forgotten to look for a bra that fits with the chosen piece. A self-adhesive low-cut bra or silicone cups, also adhesive, would have definitely been a better option.

At weddings and related events, it is important to remember that the chosen look goes beyond showing how you are and what style you have. Getting dressed to go to a wedding has always been a gesture of respect towards the bride and groom, a way of saying, without words, that the event is as important for the guest as it is for the bride and groom.
