The second MasterChef 11 gala has landed at La 1. On this occasion, the applicants have traveled to Toledo to live their first outdoor test. The teams have prepared a high-class menu signed by chef Adolfo Muñoz for 160 diners.
After more than 10 years on the screen, MasterChef continues to surprise the audience. At the premiere of the eleventh edition of the culinary talent we live a unique moment: for the first time in the history of the program in Spain, a priest is part of the applicants. In this second gala, Fray Marcos has worn a habit.
In the second gala of the La 1 program, Fray Marcos has appeared with his habit on, something that has caught the attention of the MasterChef 11 judges and also his colleagues. "I am incapable of lying to you dressed like this, no matter how much I confess to myself later," Pepe Rodríguez has acknowledged.
Fray Marcos has responded to the request of the judges and has blessed the contest: "May Almighty God, who has seen us with mercy, bless you the judges, us as participants and bless the joy and familiarity that can come from here. I know that it will bear much fruit. Amen".
Graduated in Philosophy, Social Communication and Theology, he is a member of the vocation and youth promotion team in the vicariate of the Province of Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Spain since January 2020, when he arrived in our country.
In Venezuela and Colombia he was a professor in several schools and also taught at the Santo Tomás University in Bogotá and Medellín. Currently, he is parish priest of the church of San Pedro Mártir, in the city of Madrid.
In addition, Fray Marcos has an important preaching project through social networks called My friend the fray, where he shares one-minute video reflections on the daily gospel.
