Feliciano López and Sandra Gago are expecting their second child

Feliciano López and Sandra Gago are expecting their second child, who will join their family next February. This is how the couple announces it to the magazine Hello!, where they confirm that the model is already in her second trimester of pregnancy.

A highly desired baby, as the aforementioned publication has been able to learn from sources close to the couple, and whose sex is still unknown, so it is not known if Darío, the eldest son of the couple, will have a little brother or sister with whom share games and adventures.

A wish that comes true, just a few weeks after the tennis player himself expressed his desire to become a father again after these two wonderful years spent with his firstborn. "I don't want to stay with just one," he assured, of his intention to expand his family with his wife, who completely agreed with that statement.

"From the beginning, whenever we talked about starting a family, at no time was there the option of having only one child," he added, assuring that he would like "to have two and at best three," but they preferred to go step by step.

For her part, the Madrid model thus fulfills her dream of becoming a mother again, something she already did with her little Darío, but which fills her with enthusiasm to be able to fulfill it again. "To form a family, for me, is the best thing that can happen to you in life," she told the aforementioned magazine after the birth of Darío.

The tennis player will thus begin his new adventure as the father of two children after his retirement from the world of professional sports, which he announced last June. Now, he starts with another "team", which, although less numerous, requires more attention and care.

Despite his retirement as a professional track player, López does not give up the sport. The five-time Davis Cup champion with Spain, winner of seven individual titles on the ATP Tour circuit and Roland Garros champion in doubles, along with his partner Marc López, have already confirmed their participation in the I Tennis Legends Cup , which will take place at the Albacete Tennis Club on September 23 and 24.

López has played in three editions of the tournament, with two lost finals, the first against Rafa Nadal in 2003 and the following year with Fernando Verdasco, in addition to losing in 2008 he fell in the semifinals against Oscar Hernández.
