Edmundo Arrocet has become one of the main protagonists of Spanish news in recent weeks. The Argentine comedian returned to the covers and discussions of many media outlets after his statements about the confrontation between José María Almoguera and Carmen Borrego. As the ex-partner of the remembered María Teresa Campos, his history with the family is widely known.
However, a detail unknown until now and that always raised doubts was the reason for the breakup between Bigote and the missing communicator. Telecinco's evening show, presented by Ana Rosa Quintana, has spoken with a hostess from the program 1, 2, 3, answer again; revealing that they had a relationship while Arrocet lived with Campos.
This is Marta de Pablo, who participated in the Chico Ibáñez Serrador program during the 90s. The person involved spoke with TardeAR through a phone call, giving details of what was a relationship that occurred years ago. The two met in 1, 2, 3 and, in her words, were friends for much of their lives. Despite this, they maintained a romantic relationship while the comedian was with María Teresa.
De Pablo detailed that there were encounters of a sexual nature during that time, but Arrocet lied about his relationship with the former television and radio presenter. He assured her that the two had stopped seeing each other, even though Bigote was still in the company of María Teresa. In fact, the Catalan woman even described how Edmundo spent a few nights at her house during this time, even describing Teresa as jealous.
“Edmundo was unfaithful to María Teresa Campos with me. A year or so. It was very shortly after his wife died and, the second time, when he was already with María Teresa. On one occasion, we even saw each other in Chile. At that time he had to be with Teresa. Edmundo knows how to be alone, he is very intelligent and self-sufficient, but he questions why he should be when he can be accompanied. It is very easy to fall in love with him,” he described.
Likewise, Arrocet's latest statements have gained notoriety in circles close to the Campos, after pointing directly to Alejandra Rubio: “Since she saw little of them, she was very affectionate with them.
