Daniel Sancho's uncle is honest: "The situation is complicated, I trust justice"

Daniel Sancho Bronchalo, son of Spanish actor Rodolfo Sancho, has become the undisputed protagonist of the social scene after pleading guilty to a murder in Thailand. Supposedly, the 29-year-old killed Edwin Arrieta Arteaga, a Colombian surgeon who was with him on vacation on the Thai island of Koh Phangan.

Faced with his arrest and the accusation of killing his fellow traveler, separating it into 14 parts and throwing some of them into the sea, Sancho explained: "I am guilty, but I was Edwin's hostage. He held me hostage. He was a glass cage, but it was a cage. It made me destroy my relationship with my girlfriend, it forced me to do things I would never have done."

For his part, the actor from The Ministry of Time, who would already be in Asia accompanying his son, released a statement to ask for "respect" in the face of the difficult situation his family is experiencing: "I beg the media that they refrain from issuing any hasty judgment in the face of the latest events".

"I ask that no information be released that could interfere with the development of justice and the correct procedure of the investigation, as well as any diplomatic action that could be in progress," said the artist after seeing how social networks and The media were full of videos of the young man buying tools, at the police station, etc.

While the actor from Mar de Plástico traveled to where his son will be tried, his brother Rodrigo Sancho spoke to the press and broke the silence of the alleged criminal's family. In some images that the Telecinco Fiesta program published exclusively, the defendant's uncle was seen to be very affected and worried about the future of his relative

When the reporter asked him how the situation was, he limited himself to replying that it was "very complicated." With a sad air and sheltered in his sunglasses, Rodrigo Sancho confessed that he was not very sure if his brother had already left for Thailand, but he confirmed that that was the idea. In addition, he expressed before the cameras of the aforementioned medium that he trusted justice, even if it was from another country.

Although the young man has confessed to being the perpetrator of the crime, today will be the day the judge reviews the evidence presented by the police and will decide whether to file a formal charge against Daniel Sancho.

Keep in mind that Thailand has one of the toughest penal codes in the world. Article 288 establishes that anyone found guilty of murder may be sentenced to prison for a period of between 15 and 20 years, to life imprisonment or the death penalty. Although executions are permitted by law, they are rarely applied in the country today.
