Criticism of Brooklyn Beckham in his debut as a chef for frying chicken in 25 euros of oil

Brooklyn Beckham wants to be a chef. The eldest of David and Victoria Beckham's children continues to try to find out what he wants to do in the future -especially considering that he is already a married man, even though his wife is a billionaire heiress-, and after trying to make a name for himself in the world of photography, he has decided to show that he also has a talent for being caught in the kitchen red-handed.

Now, either Brooklyn didn't learn anything from her time in Spain or she didn't pay attention to the chefs she had at home, because criticism has rained down on her latest video. The reason, to use oil worth 25 euros to fry two miserable chicken breasts.

The young man has been uploading videos to Instagram for some time where he shares some of his recipes, which have earned a respectable legion of followers who have even given him the occasional sponsor. This is the case of Chosen Foods, an organic and natural food company with a rather high price that put one of its newest products in the hands of the young Beckham: 100% avocado oil, which costs about 25 euros on the market, for him to use in one of his recipes.

Thus came his latest video on Instagram, where Brooklyn decided to use said oil for his recipe for breaded breasts -with its spices and other paraphernalia- and show his followers that avocado oil was the best for frying due to its benefits. So far, so good, except that she used the entire bottle to fry two smallish-sized breasts.

A decision that obviously all the users who saw the video realized, because the comments did not stop following one another a few minutes after its publication. "There's too much oil", "that's not good for someone who doesn't want to clog their arteries", "what a waste of ingredients" or "the amount of that expensive oil you used is ridiculous", are just some of the comments that are most they repeat.

To them, those who recommend dropping by a professional cooking school, if what you want is to dedicate yourself to it for real.

In Brooklyn's defense, the oil probably came free as a result of the brand's sponsorship, but still, if you want to be a chef one day, you should know that the secret to a good dish is knowing how much oil to use, and it all depends on the amount of oil you use. exact amount you are going to cook.

For a recipe like this, you do need plenty of hot oil, but it's better to make more than one or two. As an alternative, you can also put them on baking paper and put them in, previously heated to 200ºC.

Brooklyn is probably trying to follow the style of two famous references, the British chefs Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver, very popular in the United Kingdom. The first, moreover, is a close friend of the Beckham family, so it is very possible that he is giving him instructions on how to make his way.
