Confrontation on Twitter after the last publication of Sara Sálamo that the actress has ended up deleting

The actress Sara Sálamo has become a trend on social networks this Monday after publishing a controversial tweet that she has later deleted in which she compared the sexist murders suffered by women, with the violence of the terrorist group ETA.

In the controversial publication, the Canarian actress has shared a photograph of a graffiti on a wall in which the message can be read: "Spanish machos kill more than ETA." The tweet has accumulated more than 5,300 "likes" and 1,300 retweets in just three hours, before being deleted.

In addition, Sálamo has also shared another image with a drawing of a pyramid in which different degrees of machismo are presented.

These publications have aroused the anger of many users, who have accused the actress of mixing topics that have nothing to do with whitewashing a terrorist group.

Subsequently, Sálamo has also explained through his Twitter account that he has deleted the publication with the aim of "enjoying a quiet afternoon with my children without receiving threats and macho insults" and has ended by apologizing: "I am sorry for having compared victims of murders with murder victims... I've run out of steam."

Beyond her acting career, in recent years, Sara Sálamo has also made a name for herself as an activist for women's and animal rights, which has drawn fierce criticism from the most conservative sectors of society.
