However, the former Telecinco collaborator has had to face a hard blow in recent weeks. This past weekend she reappeared on her social media to announce heartbreaking news: the death of her mother. Almudena Martínez revealed through a heartfelt farewell message what had happened to her mother.
''Tomorrow will be the first year of many that I will not be able to kiss you and congratulate you on Mother's Day, mom. You are already in heaven and how much I miss you. There is no minute or day that I do not remember you, my confidant, my friend, my everything, because you gave me life,' she began by saying in the text that she published next to a black and white image of some flowers .
''I look at the sky and I wonder if you look at me, there will be no lack of flowers, no tears, no sadness... a mother is a shooting star that passes through your life that happens once and when her light goes out you will not see her again '', he continued.
The former Big Brother contestant is completely devastated by the loss of her mother, who, as she explained, had left too soon. ''You left very young, I missed you a lot, you have taken a part of me,'' she said.
At the same time, Chiqui wanted to thank all the support and messages of affection she has received as a result of the news: ''Thank you all for your beautiful texts to my Mother. She was very happy during my time as @ghoficial (...) Value those of you who have your Mother and Father, there is no greater pain than that.'' Finally, Chiqui revealed that his mother had died on April 16 and that he had not communicated anything until now because she "did not have the strength."
