The actor and singer Carlo Costanzia, son of Mar Flores, has been sentenced to 21 months in prison as criminally responsible for the perpetrator of a continuous crime of aggravated fraud. The 30-year-old actor and firstborn of the model and businesswoman will have to go to prison, as reported by Semana.

After months of investigation, the Provincial Court of Malaga sentenced Costanzia and his partner to "21 months in prison and a five-month fine with a daily fee of six euros, with subsidiary personal liability in case of non-payment of one day of deprivation of liberty for every two unsatisfied daily quotas".

According to the aforementioned publication, both the young actor and his partner have managed to reduce their sentence, since they have done their part to "repair" that "damage" to those affected; or what is the same, they have already paid part of the scammed money to avoid the consequences being greater.

In total, as reported by Semana, the defendants would have already paid a total of 101,675 euros, with which they thus satisfy their civil liability. An amount that has already been distributed among those affected, as follows: C.M.G has already been paid "the amount of 15,910 euros". Don S.P.C has received a contribution of 30,000 euros. For his part, M.L. and E.F.S. They have paid him 31,210 euros. Another of the injured parties, J.C.M.G., has already received the amount of 3,000 euros. In addition to these people, an injured company has received the amount of 10,860 euros.

The rest of the amount deposited by the defendants has been used to pay the costs of the private prosecution, which exceed 9,000 euros; in addition to reserving a small part in case the benefits of the suspension of Costanzia's sentence are granted.

It was in September when it came to light that the actor and his partner were facing 9 years in prison for having defrauded more than 92,900 euros with a business dedicated to the sale of high-end cars. During the different phases of the trial, Costanzia defended himself by explaining that her partner was responsible for these operations, but the complainants assured that he was knowledgeable and that the signature on the documents was his.

Despite the court decision, the former partner of Alessandro Lequio or Cayetano Martínez de Irujo has defended the innocence of her son. "We will have to abide by justice, although I firmly believe in the innocence of my son Carlo," she said.
