This past Thursday, October 12, Spanish Television broadcast a new installment of its emblematic cooking program, Masterchef Celebrity. Several famous faces from the current Spanish and international scene fight every week in the kitchens of the reality show to be the best chef of the edition under the watchful critical eye of Samantha Vallejo-Najera, Jordi Cruz and Pepe Rodríguez.
After the departure of Tania Llasera last week, the program decided last night to bring back the former contestants, in the so-called 'play-off', with the aim of one of them managing to return to the competition again. A decision that aroused the joy of many and the anger of others.
But without a doubt the great protagonist of this new installment was Blanca Romero. First of all, the actress had a big clash with one of the guests of the night, Xavier Deltell. The comedian visited the contestants together with Pepe Rodríguez while they were cooking in the team test.
At one point, the actress detailed her experience faking kisses on the big screen, which caught the attention of the comedian, who bluntly proposed a kiss in front of the cameras. A proposal that did not sit well with the contestant, as she chose to be completely forceful with the guest. ''If it could be my grandfather, because he didn't have pans otherwise I would have hit him with a frying pan,'' she confessed.
But not all were uncomfortable moments for the model. During the team event she also had time to reveal one of her best kept secrets, her short romance with Álvaro Muñoz Escassi. While several teammates chatted about hair removal, Romero revealed that men with hair were her great downfall. A statement that she later used to praise her partner Álvaro Muñoz Escassi. ''Look at Álvaro how handsome he is with a beard. A night of drinking, a crazy night...' she declared.
The confession caused all of his teammates to start asking him about his short romance with the athlete. ''It was a long time ago, we must have been like 16 or 18 years old. But that man had an ass and legs that looked like a Greek bust,' he claimed. Moments later the athlete appeared on the scene and claimed "that he was in love with Blanca on her day." ''He ended as it had to end and we became colleagues for life,'' the actress clarified.
But the matter was not settled at that time. During the elimination test, Pepe Rodríguez decided to ask the actress if she still had feelings for the rider. Blanca Romero stated that for her he was like a brother to her. ''He would repeat it, I wouldn't,'' she assured. In response to these statements, Escassi confessed that he saw her as a distant cousin and also added: ''Because I have a girlfriend, otherwise, not even charity would save you.''
