Apotheosis Laura Pausini: honeymoon and world tour

In the early 1990s, when songs had a longer radio life expectancy than they do today, a young Italian woman surprised us by singing about teenage love. 30 years have passed since Laura Pausini lamented that "Marco left never to return" and now, with the maturity and experience that the years give her, she embarks on a world tour that will, in turn, celebrate his honeymoon. Love, as can be seen, continues to be one of her vital axes.

Preparing a tour of this magnitude, with stops in Europe, the United States and Latin America, is no easy task. "My dedication is absolute, I can't conceive of it any other way," Pausini explains to La Vanguardia, reporting that he has spent more than six months preparing for this challenge both physically and vocally. A challenge that comes after a somewhat difficult time on a personal level: “During these last two years I have had an intense battle with myself, a roller coaster of emotions and a momentary break with my concerns. Something very complex to handle for me. I had thoughts of deep uncertainty about myself and my future."

The blockade was such that “I considered absolutely everything. I felt that I had already written and sung everything”; However, that gray cloud passed by and taught him a new way of facing life: “I don't know and I can't know what awaits us, but what I do know, and I really feel that way, is that I want to know What's around the corner and I want to do it singing. Singing is my life, my emotion and my mission”.

Like the romantic artist that she is, she affirms that “love is everything to me. And yes, I believe in love forever. Times have changed and the lyrics of the most commercial songs no longer exude the tenderness that theirs had, but "singing to love is not a fashion", no matter how much other trends prevail. In this sense, and regarding the debate that has been opened in networks around the themes of spite interpreted by women like Shakira, Miley Cyrus or Karol G, the Italian is clear that she is one more way of conveying emotions.

“We are in a time where everything is judged. I prefer not to judge. There are always many variables and I don't know each story. If you are someone in the media, whether you are a man or a woman, the controversy would have been uncovered anyway", she reflects and adds that "as a woman, I can imagine how they feel, I have also experienced difficult moments, but people manage to live it and overcome it in very different ways . And that does not mean that something is right or wrong.

Another of the roles that Laura Pausini plays powerfully is that of a mother: “My daughter Paola is that unquestionable love. To me, she is everything." Her little girl is the result of her relationship with Paolo Carta, the musician who accompanies her on stage and with whom she began a romantic relationship 18 years ago. Just a month ago, she surprised her by announcing her wedding on networks, an intimate link that "was magical, with our 10-year-old daughter giving us the rings. And turning the world tour into our honeymoon is a true dream and the best gift that Paolo and I could give ourselves. I feel very lucky and I can't wait to start our 'honeymoon' around the world”.

Gone are the moments of stress and anxiety experienced, the pressure that her work entails or the bad times that some of her collaborators, who are no longer by her side, put her through by telling her that she was not good enough or that she had to lose weight. . And it is that thirty years of career go a long way, but Laura Pausini keeps not only the good things she has lived but also all the good things that are yet to come. Her excitement and enthusiasm remain immeasurable.
