Blue Bloods: Police Family could not return in September as was tradition for the first time in its history due to the writers' strike and the actors' strike. The decision was announced this week when the police series' return date was announced on American programming. The CBS channel will resume the Reagan family cases on February 16 with the broadcast of the first part of the season, which consists of ten episodes. The network reserves the remaining eight episodes that make up the second half of the season for fall 2024.
Blue Bloods began patrolling American television in September 2010. It offered a hybrid between police and family drama by focusing on the Reagans, a family in which the work tradition was to forge a career in the police force.
