Alfonso Arús gets on his nerves with the trial of Daniel Sancho: "They weren't playing the goose"

Another day, the trial against Daniel Sancho for the murder and subsequent dismemberment of Edwin Arrieta continues to make headlines in the media around the world. After eight months in preventive detention, the legal process against Rodolfo Sancho's son began on April 9.

This procedure is especially important on this occasion, since if the prosecution proves that the chef acted with premeditation, he could be sentenced to life imprisonment or the death penalty. However, the defense is trying to convince the judge that this is a case of reckless homicide and that the young man only acted in self-defense.

As is customary, the different collaborators of Aruser@s have commented on the news of the trial and have updated the audience on the latest movements in the case. Rocío Cano explained in the La Sexta magazine that the forensic experts have declared that the blows to Arrieta's skull are compatible with an alleged fight, something that would favor Sancho's story.

Faced with such information, Alfonso Arús has been visibly indignant. ''I'm surprised that the conclusion is reached that it is compatible with a fight, it has bothered us... If you think so, they were playing catch-up, of course there was a fight. If from August to April we have come to the conclusion that it is compatible with a fight, we have made a lot of progress,' he exclaimed in an ironic tone.

When Cano rebutted him by saying that this information could help clarify whether or not there was premeditation, Arús insisted again: ''I'm sorry to disagree, but it may not be premeditated or it may be premeditated and still be a fight. That there was a fight is obvious. Another thing is that intentionally as a result of the fight I wanted to kill him or not (...) I think there is nothing new, but oh well.''

The Catalan communicator expressed a few days ago on the Atresmedia program that, due to the different measures and decisions that had been taken regarding the trial, the trial against the Spanish cook accused of killing his Colombian friend will end up 'tiring' people and will lose strength in the media.

''I made a bet and I will not lose that, from now until the 25th, every day there will be less press, less interest... After it has become known first that it is not possible to speak, second that the lawyers fall asleep during the session and then neither They tell you the truth because a Thai appears and who knows what he is telling you... well in the end it turns out that the interest is minus four (...) It will end up with no one at the door,'' he stated bluntly.
