A single man from 'First Dates' leaves his date amazed with a strange confession: ''I'm married''

Every day, dozens of people come to First Dates in search of a special person with whom to enjoy a good evening and, if a beautiful connection arises and occurs, with whom to start a romantic relationship.

During the years it has been broadcast, the most romantic restaurant on the small screen has given the audience very emotional moments, as well as surprising and surreal ones, since it welcomes all types of profiles and singles in search of love.

One of the dates that has left great moments for viewers has been that of Paloma and Sergio. The single woman arrived at the dinner nervous, since she had only been in Spain for two months (she is Cuban) and she was still adapting to life in our country. Although she is a professional makeup artist, she explained that at the moment she was working as a waitress.

For his part, Sergio said that he was 24 years old and that he was also currently working in the hospitality industry. Although the first impression was good, the young Andalusian confessed that he still lived with his mother and stepfather and that he was very comfortable in that situation, something that the Cuban woman did not like too much, since she is a very independent woman.

At one point during the date, the blue-haired woman decided to tell Sergio something that is important to her. ''I'm technically married, I married for love,'' she explained before the stunned look of her companion. However, he calmed down when the young woman assured him that the relationship was over and that he was now in a new stage of her life.

While he was open to ''everything that came,'' she made it clear that she does not want to start a formal and strict relationship, since she needs her space. Paloma expressed that she was looking for someone to connect with and have a good time, a person who makes her feel that she is her ''priority''.

Despite the good vibes that existed at all times and the pleasant conversation that the single couple shared throughout the evening, the spark did not fly for one of the diners.

When the program asked the man from Malaga if he would have a second date with Paloma, he did not hesitate and responded bluntly that he would be delighted to have a second meeting. However, she ruled out this possibility for a superficial reason, since she did not like her physically. ''Nothing happens (...) I know that for many people I don't have the perfect physique," said Sergio.
