First Dates continues its television journey on Cuatro nights. The popular program presented by Carlos Sobera and Laura Boado welcomed new diners on Thursday night willing to live a unique experience and, if possible, find love.

One of the great events of the night was the one starring Mari Carmen and Pablo. The 70-year-old Valencian single arrived at the restaurant confessing that her three fundamental pillars were dancing, walking and cleanliness. She had been divorced for more than 29 years and despite having had some relationships during all these years, the single woman wanted to find someone she could date. Of course, her man had to be educated, clean and teetotal.

Her date was going to be Pablo, an 80-year-old bachelor from Alicante, who claimed to "like healthy fun." ''All my friends tell me that,'' he declared. As soon as they saw each other, the singles had very similar first impressions. ''It's not my style. A polo shirt and jeans and colorful shoes is not appropriate for coming. Depending on where you are going, you have to go,'' the single woman stressed.

But their first exchange of words was going to be marked by a small misunderstanding. And the single woman asked him: ''Gentleman, where do you come from?''. A very formal phrase, which the bachelor could not tolerate. ''Whatever you call me...I take the door and leave. "I'm a kid," he said. ''He seems physically older than me,'' she confessed. After learning about their places of residence, the presenter accompanied the couple to their table, where the evening began.

Once seated, Mari Carmen confessed that she had appeared on the program because she hated loneliness. In addition, she emphasized that she was a very active person and fond of dancing. ''If you don't like dancing, you lose a point,'' Pablo told him. But Mari Carmen revealed that she danced all kinds of dances. ''Physically nothing suits me. It has no curves. "She doesn't have a woman's body," asserted the bachelor.

Moments later, the bachelor managed to discover Mari Carmen's exact age and lied to her by telling her that she looked younger. ''Because she is a gentleman because she looks older,'' he said. ''I didn't imagine she was so old,'' she commented when she discovered Pablo's 80 years old. The date was progressing and the chemistry between the two did not seem to be emerging. Furthermore, the single woman noticed that the bachelor was quite mischievous. ''I like to flatter women, tell them that they are pretty, even if I don't feel it,'' he commented.

In the final stretch of the evening, the couple moved to the program's booth, where they had the opportunity to get to know each other better. There, both of them took to the dance floor and delighted the spectators with a particular dance. ''I asked for a woman who liked dancing and who knew how. She likes it, but she doesn't know. "She dances as if her feet were tied," the bachelor asserted. In the final decision, Pablo and Mari Carmen agreed that they were not made for each other.
