At dawn on September 15 of this year, Enrique López Sáez disappeared without a trace after being seen near the Camilo José Cela viewpoint, in the city of Cuenca.
After more than a week of tireless searching by police, firefighters and Civil Protection volunteers, the authorities found the lifeless body of the 22-year-old young man at the viewpoints of the Ronda del Júcar in Cuenca on September 23.
At the moment the causes of the young man's death are unknown, but the news has had a great media impact because the deceased participated a few years ago in the Cuatro program First Dates.
During the days prior to the discovery of the body, the image of the boy was spread on all types of social networks and digital platforms. In a desperate attempt to find him or find some clue, a public appeal was also made at the Estival Cuenca contest, an event in which one of his relatives was working.
López Sáez appeared on the Mediaset España television space on November 8, 2021 and shared some aspects of his private life openly.
