4 manicures that will be a trend this fall 2023

The catwalks, social networks and street style are in charge of dictating the trends that not only apply to the world of clothing and accessories, but also rule the roost in terms of beauty. From viral makeup trends to trendy haircuts, including manicures of course.

The nails play an indisputable role, as one more component in the composition of our look, so we must not neglect them, but deserve all our attention. This happens by taking care of their appearance, keeping them strong and healthy, filing them with the shape that we like best and also decorating them with the colors or nail art that is sweeping each season.

With autumn just around the corner, we put aside the most vivid and saturated colors that have accompanied us in summer, as well as other summer manicure trends such as floral motifs. In their place, we welcome more intense yet dark nail tones, which evoke the autumnal atmosphere more. And when it comes to manicure designs, take good note, because there are a few trends that you will want to join.

Aura nails have already begun to appear in spring, but they will experience their maximum splendor this fall. They consist of drawing a halo in the center of your nail with one color, while the base is a different shade. You can do it with two shades of the same color – such as a lighter blue and a darker one – or opt for two colors that combine harmoniously.

A trend that advocates attracting attention and not suitable for the less daring: nails with a metallic finish. Whether in silver or gold, let your manicure act as a mirror and dare with metallic nail polishes.

Glazed nails or glazed nails are based on recreating the effect of sugar glaze on a sweet, but on your nails. To achieve this, you must apply a base in a neutral tone and then cover them with a shiny satin-finish powder.

If we focus on smooth nails, you should bet on colors in tune with autumnal landscapes and motifs: earth tones, ochres, forest green, navy blue, maroon, plum, black, orange and purple. If you prefer more subtle nuances, opt for a simple nude or cream color, or a soft pink, a bet that never fails.
