080 Barcelona Fashion closes the edition with the elegance of Yolancris

The last day of the 31st edition of 080 Barcelona has been described as a pioneer in all of Spain for celebrating the first inclusive fashion show. The Free Form Style firm dedicated to adapted fashion for people with different disabilities, created 5 years ago by journalist Marina Vergés and computer scientist Carolina Asensio.

In the Sant Pau modernist venue, people in wheelchairs with dwarfism, with prostheses or with reduced mobility have paraded in the firm's clothing, elegant and fashionable with a collection of 17 looks created by Manuel Bolaño.

Yolancris' elegance put the finishing touch to this edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion, barely two weeks after having walked the Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week parade with his bridal collection. Now they have done it with the night one called Black Embossing, since it is based on this technique of engraving on textiles.

The boho style, which is the hallmark of the firm, has been in second place to give prominence to the maximum volumes typical of the elegance of the 50s, which are always elegant and timeless.

Acid urban is the title of the collection presented by the firm Lola Casademunt by Maite, aimed at an empowered, modern woman who moves in big cities.

Total looks with volumes such as dresses, jumpsuits, suits, skirts, jackets and hoodies, rich in textures and materials such as technical fabrics, brocades, jacquard, tweeds, gemstones and transparencies. The animal print is not missing, which is the DNA of the firm and also the logo, although this time not so obvious and with the M as the protagonist.

This edition has had the return of the firm from Figueres Rita Row. "Ten years ago we created the brand and shortly after we walked the 080 parade. It was a great experience but we believed that at that time we had to grow as a company, and once we have established ourselves, we have decided to return", explain Imma and Xènia, the two creators of the firm.

They mainly sell in the United States, perhaps for this reason they have baptized their cowboy-style collection The West Road Collection. A journey through the mountains with comfortable and contemporary garments, versatile, for all sizes and above all sustainable.

Reveligion, the Sevillian firm returns to 080 Barcelona Fashion with its tulle proposals and its motto "clothing made by women for the world". If on the previous occasion the designs were intended for red carpets, in this edition he has chosen to bring tulle to street style, even colored with graffiti in his Vandal collection.

The Madrid firm Habey Club, which debuted at 080 in the previous edition, has also decided to continue on the Catalan catwalk "because it gave us very good results in terms of impact in the media and in sales". The brand is represented by the concepts of the revision of traditional crafts and techniques, the analysis of trends and their durability, and the use of recycled or natural fibers.

The autumn-winter collection is called Perspective and it talks about the passage of time from the point of view of experience. And they have represented it with the lace of the shoes. "When you manage to do it, it's a sign of growth," explain the two designers, David Salvador and Javier Zunzunegui. They have also transformed classic pieces such as the barbour into a bomber and the cut of the jean jacket they have transferred it to woolen cloth.

Eñaut is already a veteran at 080 Barcelona Fashion. In this edition he has presented Vulturno, a collection that, like the previous ones, wants to whip consciences. This time about climate change. "I continue to insist on the environment, on the heat. It seems that in 2024 we are going to exceed 1.5 degrees more than annual temperature. This would mean a catastrophe for the global ecosystem, with the disappearance of many species of plants and animals and the total disappearance of the reefs", comments the designer.

Black, the emblematic color of the designer, has predominated in a proposal in which some ash gray and orange have been cast, in reference to fire.
