Recklessness behind the wheel puts our integrity and that of other drivers at risk. The most common offenses that generate a greater number of sanctions are those related to speeding, alcohol and drug use, using a mobile phone or not wearing a seat belt, according to the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT).
However, there are users who commit other serious, albeit unusual, imprudence. This is the case of a man who has been recorded in Zaragoza driving through the city, perched on the back of a van, as published on Twitter by the Social Drive platform, a community of drivers where information on traffic is shared in real time.
According to the Heraldo de Aragón, this scene occurred in the center of the city. Specifically, on Conde de Aranda street, when the vehicle was heading towards the central Coso.
In the video you can see how this man moves perched on the back of the van. To keep his balance, he holds on to the roof rack with both hands and puts his feet on the ball of the trailer hitch.
It is unknown from which point this man was traveling, who at various times threatens to get out of the vehicle. Finally, just as the van turns right onto another road, he gets out and continues on foot. A most dangerous gesture for his integrity and for the safety of other road users.
