There is already a date for this year's Skoda Titan Desert Almería

The International Tourism Fair (Fitur) that is taking place this week in Madrid has been the setting chosen to announce the first details of the fifth edition of the Skoda Titan Desert Almería, and whose event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports , Victor Manuel González.

For Víctor Manuel González, the confirmation of the dates of the test "is great news, because it is the starting signal for a new edition of a sporting event already consolidated as a reference in the world of MTB stage races, for which that we bet at the time, in a wonderful environment such as the province of Almería and in which Andalusian athletes will participate through our Ambassador Challenge program.

The Andalusian mountain bike event will be held from October 5 to 8 entirely in the province of Almería. The route and sporting details of the race will be announced at the official presentation of the competition on May 16, at the headquarters of the Almería Provincial Council.

In addition to the announcement of the race dates for the Skoda Titan Desert Almería, the event served to publicize two new initiatives linked to the race: the Almería Stage Titan Desert and the Almería Family Ride Titan Desert.

The Almería Stage Titan Desert will be held in March. It will consist of two days of full immersion in the Titan universe. Talks, bike rides to explore the terrain of Almería and direct contact with some of the event's leaders to arrive as well prepared as possible for the October race.

For its part, the Almería Family Ride Titan Desert has a very different aspect, focused on the little ones. They will be the ones, along with their fathers and mothers, who will enjoy this activity.

The day before the test begins, the sons and daughters of the participants will do a small circuit of a handful of kilometers to enjoy cycling.

Also present at the event were the mayor of Almería, María del Mar Vázquez; the Secretary General for Sports, José María Arrabal; the directors of Sports Events and Facilities and Sports Systems and Values, Isabel Sánchez and María de Nova, respectively; the Sports Deputy of Almería, José Antonio García; Skoda; RPM Sports; and the ambassador for all Titan World Series events in 2024, former professional cyclist Luis León Sánchez.
