The Citroën C5 Aircross SUV debuts a version with the DGT Eco label

At Citroën they apply the famous saying “better late than never”. The C5 Aircross, after the success achieved by its Plug-in Hybrid versions, now completes its electrified offer with the new Hybrid 136 e-DCS6 engine, which combines a 3-cylinder PureTech gasoline engine with a 48-cylinder battery. volts and a small 21 kW electric motor. This version has the DGT Eco label.

This combination becomes a more accessible alternative to accessing electrified mobility in this model. The light hybridization of this car allows a 15% reduction in CO2 emissions, now standing at 129 g/km. The reduction in emissions and consumption can reach up to 30% when driving on urban routes.

The C5 Aircross Hybrid 136 e-DCS6 uses a 1.2 PureTech three-cylinder gasoline engine, equipped with a new variable geometry turbocharger that generates superior performance. For a perfect adaptation to the new hybridization, the double chevron brand states that 40% of its parts are new, including the distribution chain.

The lithium-ion battery recharges automatically in some phases of driving - braking and deceleration - and its energy is used by a 21 kW electric motor (equivalent to 28 HP). The gearbox, designed for association with hybrid mechanics, is completely new and has electrified dual-clutch technology.

The 100% electric mode can be used in certain circumstances, on urban routes and always at low speeds. Of course, it is also useful when maneuvering and parking.

The instrument panel of the C5 Aircross Hybrid 136 is equipped with an exclusive instrument panel. It incorporates a blue tachometer that shows the autonomy and routes in electric mode. A graph reflects the energy flow of the hybrid engine, a charge level indicator, a power meter, the chosen driving mode and the percentage of distance traveled in electric mode.

Like the rest of the C5 Aircross range, this version includes the equipment and high level of comfort that represent significant added value, standing out for its spacious cabin, modularity possibilities, Advanced Comfort suspension and Advanced Comfort seats.

The new Citroën C5 Aircross Hybrid is available in installments, starting at 160 euros per month. This offer includes an entry fee of 13,110 euros and a final installment of 19,671 euros.
