Nobody likes to pay commissions. However, there are people who pay up to 240 euros a year for the maintenance of their account, a figure to which the cost of the cards must be added.
In March, at least five banks forced a part of their clients to go through the cash register (those with the least ties) and in April three banks are expected to charge maintenance fees to clients who do not meet their requirements (CaixaBank, Santander and ING), according to a study by the financial product comparator HelpMyCash.com.
The easiest way to get rid of commissions is to say goodbye to the bank and open a free account with another institution. In addition, there is currently another incentive to change: take advantage of promotions for new clients with which, in addition to not paying commissions, you can earn extra money.
