Pimec and La Vanguardia are organizing a conference for SMEs on digital transformation

Pimec and La Vanguardia organize a conference where they will discuss the challenges faced by SMEs in terms of digital transformation. The meeting will be held next Thursday, November 9, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Movistar Center Barcelona (Pl. Catalunya, 16) and registration is now open through this link.

The event, sponsored by Banc Sabadell and Telefónica, is part of the Cycle of Meetings on Digitalization and Technology, Pymesconnect. It will be attended by prominent leaders from the country's small and medium-sized business sector, as well as several experts in innovation and technology. During the meeting, different experts in the field of digital transformation will present the keys to promoting the digitalization of both SMEs and startups. We will also talk about aid for the digitalization of SMEs (Digital Kit) and how to obtain them.

According to a report published last week by Minsait, a leading company in digital transformation and Information Technology, in recent years the pressure towards a total and sustainable digital transformation of small and medium-sized companies has accelerated.

“While digital transformation has focused in recent years on customer relationship channels, business data and intelligence, and cybersecurity, core systems have remained largely unchanged, and it is these that are diminishing the flexibility and agility that companies need. The time has come to move on to the next phase of digital transformation to gain agility and be able to anticipate different scenarios, facilitating the adaptation of the business model to changes in supply sources, manufacturing models, target markets and variations. of the demand” reflects Marc Murta, president of Indra, in the letter that opens the aforementioned report.
