Öhll, accessories for folding bicycles and scooters

When Víctor Benasco began to go to work by bicycle and electric scooter, he missed the existence of specific accessories for these light vehicles that integrate what is known as micromobility. However, it was not until the outbreak of covid that Benasco had the excuse and the opportunity to focus on creating these accessories himself.

“The company I worked for forced me to go live in Holland and, instead, I chose to leave my job to develop this project I had in mind,” recalls the entrepreneur. Furthermore, it coincided with the rise of micromobility due to fear of contagion.

In March 2021, Benasco founded the electric bicycle and scooter accessories company Öhll. He did it together with his wife, five capitalist partners and the Barcelona studio Ànima Design, which is in charge of the designs. Öhll's first product, a bag that can be attached to vehicles, hit the streets for the first time in December 2022. A year later, a backpack has seen the light of day and now the startup wants to raise 200,000 euros in investment to market also a helmet. “The goal is to end up creating all the accessories necessary for micromobility, hence the name of the company, which is pronounced like the word all in English,” explains the co-founder.

The bag and backpack are manufactured in China, but not the anchoring system, which is produced in Barcelona. The accessories are available through the company's website and about 40 points of sale, mainly in Spain, but also in France, Italy and Germany. Among the establishments, El Corte Inglés, Fnac and Sabway stand out.
