With this new model, its first crossover in the premium small vehicle segment, Mini has explored the creative use of space to offer a versatile cabin for five adults with five comfortable seats in a length of just over four meters; A challenge.
As is customary for the brand, Mini also once again uses innovative technologies to improve the user's immersive digital experience, with the classic seal of pleasant, friendly and so particular design typical of this firm. With dimensions of 4.07 meters in length, 1.75 meters in width and 1.50 meters in height, the Mini Aceman – which is located between the Mini Cooper and the Mini Countryman – stands out for its solid presence and clean design. and reduced that gives it a contemporary appearance, radiating security without complications. The dashboard, for its part, is covered with a 3D knit material where the lower color shines through the upper one. This versatile and easy-care surface is made from recycled polyester. The high-quality equipment of the cabin is completed by comfortable seats, optionally with textile or Vescin (synthetic leather) surface, which in the rear part have folding backrests in a ratio of 60:40, so the trunk can be expanded from 300 liters up to 1,005 liters according to needs.
The Mini Aceman will be available only with fully electric propulsion, allowing local emission-free mobility both in urban areas and on routes beyond the city limits. At the time of its market launch, estimated to be before the end of the year, it will be offered in the Mini Aceman E version with a WLTP range of 294–310 km and a 42.5 kWh battery. And also in the Mini Aceman SE version, in this case with 382–407 km and a battery with 54.2 kWh energy content.
The MiniAceman's battery can be charged via alternating current with a power of 11 kW. Fast charging with direct current is possible with up to 75 kW of power in the E and in the SE with up to 95 kW of power. At a fast charging station, this allows the battery to be charged from 10% to 80% in just under 30 minutes.
The brand states that the chassis of the new Aceman boasts a marked sporty character thanks to being equipped with a precise damping system that includes highly pre-tensioned stabilizers: these improve the precision and accuracy of the steering, while guaranteeing solid support against the swing. Precise tuning of all stability control systems ensures an exceptional driving experience in any conditions; In addition, the response of the electric drive to pressure on the accelerator pedal has been optimized for a particularly emotional and sporty style.
Meanwhile, its agile and dynamic handling is accentuated by a direct steering setting, with a ratio of 59.5 mm of travel per turn of the steering wheel. Combined with a short, firm feel when braking, the integrated braking system increases confidence and security behind the wheel for short distances and powerful stops. The 654 mm diameter tires improve driving dynamics and ride comfort in equal measure.
And to achieve a fully personalized experience, Mini Experience Modes with various suspension settings allow you to choose between intensifying or attenuating the sensations by adjusting the steering response and also the intervention limits of the traction control calibrated specifically according to the circumstances.
