A 'youtuber' checks if the Tesla Cybertruck is capable of cutting off fingers after its update: “I shit myself for a second”

The Tesla Cybertruck makes headlines again. After having withdrawn almost 4,000 copies from the market due to accelerator problems, the creation of Elon Musk's firm is once again the focus of controversy due to its front trunk.

As demonstrated by several videos posted on the networks, the electric trunk of the Tesla pick-up is a guillotine capable of effortlessly cutting off endless vegetables.

Tesla claims to have solved this security problem, which is why YouTuber Jeremy Judkins has set out to check it; yes, using his own hand in the process. “Don't put your finger in the front trunk of the Tesla Cybertruck” he titles his video, revealing the result.

The content creator focuses on analyzing the electric hood of the Cybertruck, whose software has supposedly been updated by Tesla. First, Judkins tries vegetables, specifically a banana and a cucumber; the trunk detects them and leaves them intact.

To try to outwit the system, try the tip of a thinner carrot, which is severed by the hood. Despite this, the YouTuber sets out to check it with his hand. The result? The Cybertruck bends his finger as he tries to pull it out.

“I shit myself for a second because of my finger, I'm not going to lie. It got stuck and I got a little scared because I didn't know how to open it, I was half trapped,” Judkins says in his video. Luckily, the trunk finally detected resistance and opened.
