Yolanda Díaz does not know, does not answer

What is a woman? "You tell me." "I asked him first"... In the electoral campaign Santiago Abascal and Yolanda Díaz left the question of what a woman is. In prime time and for all of Spain, it became clear that no one, absolutely no one in politics knows what a woman is or does not see the need to say it, lest, as Antoni Puigverd indicated in these pages, it costs them a vote.

Science is clear about what a woman is. Like what is a man and an intersex person. And urgently legislating to promote transgenderism is not going to be a trauma. She will continue impassively watching how the academic world of Gender Studies gesticulates and brandishes its progressive post-truth – an oxymoron of suspicious success – according to which it is a woman who says she feels like a woman.

In short, one can declare one gender or the other as many times as they please but, as Claudine Junien, emeritus professor of Genetics and member of the National Academy of Medicine in France, says, changing sex is not possible, since it is present in every one of the trillions of cells in the human being and permeates every chromosome.

To overcome the evidence, Queer theory played to confuse sex (biology) and gender (cultural construct), and ended up diluting the former as something circumstantial that is assigned to us at birth. Academic postmodernism was blown away by the discovery: the essence of being was its way of feeling sexual, sexy and…sexist!

Okay, but the evidence won't stop knocking on the door. In his book It's your sex that makes the difference, published in France, Junien reminds us that sex is fundamental to health. To give a couple of examples: the transmission of the painful stimulus passes through different cells in women and men, depression affects different regions...

Since not even in prime time and for all of Spain do women deserve to break a spear for them, remembering that the Trans law disrupts their political fight for equality or that it leaves them at a clear disadvantage in sport, let's focus at least on health . And let's investigate all those discomforts that today are masked behind the trans solution.
