Ximo Puig calls elections: "We don't want to go backwards in the Valencian Community"

The president of the Generalitat Valenciana, Ximo Puig, has called this morning the autonomous elections for May 28 in a public appearance after the extraordinary plenary session of the Council and accompanied by his councillors.

In the solemn ceremony held at the Palau de la Generalitat, Puig reviewed the achievements of this legislature but acknowledged that "we have not done everything well and not everything is good, but we are better". His main idea has been that "we don't want to go backwards in the Valencian Community".

The president has valued that the legislature that has ended "has been special." In this regard, he and he has referred to the fact that only at the beginning of this period the Valencian Community suffered a DANA. "The worst came later," he added, referring to the pandemic "that killed more than 10,000 Valencians." And he has added to this reflection the effects of "the war in Ukraine and its serious effects on family economies."
